Le système de production : un formalisme pour modéliser la cognition humaine

Dans le cadre d'un exposé des concepts classiques des sciences de la cognition (systèmes de production, représentation des connaissances), on expose plusieurs formalisations psychologiques des mécanismes cognitifs. On étudie, en particulier, des modèles de raisonnements non rigoureux; puis on propose un mode d'intégration de modèles psychologiques dans la formalisation d'un système de production. On termine, enfin, par l'examen des possibilités d'application de modèles structuraux – et non plus stochastiques – à la représentation de comportements humains (apprentissage).

In an account of the classical concepts of the cognitive science (production system, representation of knowledge), one puts forth various psychological formalizations of the cognitive mechanisms. Models of inaccurate reasoning are studied with particular interest. One also proposes a method aimed at integrating psychological models in the formalization of a production system. One finally ends by examining whether it is possible to apply structural – and no longer stochastic – models to the representation of human behaviour (learning).
