According to Vuillemin, science requires in order to be possible : (1) a complete revolution in the use of linguistic signs, (2) theoretical determination, (3) theory of truth. As opposed to science, myth has no linguistic univocity, there is no biunivocal relation between signs and contents. – From myth to philosophy : the role of the axiomatic method; – Jule Vuillemin’s a priori classification of philosophical systems based on the classification of predications; – Predications correspond to the ontological principles.
